What is the CCIMNeXt Project?

CCIMNeXt is an initiative by CCIM Institute to improve and enhance online resources for CCIM Members from the CCIMNet platform. 

The CCIMNeXt platform contains:

• A graphical user interface through which you can enter and update property listings.
• A database of property listings.
• A search engine, available only to CCIM Institute members, to search those listings.
• A data exchange engine to feed listings to and import listings from third party sites.
• Integration with the Site To Do Business.

What are these third party sites?

The third party sites will be web sites and services that provide national property listing search engines, property marketing services, data and site analysis services, and more. The CCIMNeXt taskforce is currently developing the business rules that will guide these exchanges and developing relationships with the service providers

When will it be delivered?

The first release of the CCIMNeXt version of the CCIMNet platfom is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2009.

What will it cost me to use CCIMNet?

CCIMNet has been, and will continue to be, a benefit to CCIM Institute members at no additional charge. Some of the services from third parties available through CCIMNet may only be available at an extra cost.

Who are the CCIM people working on it?

The CCIMNeXt project currently consists of two teams, appointed by the Institute's elected leadership.

The CCIMNeXt Taskforce is the leading group, chaired by Frank Simpson, CCIM, and consists of Tim Hatlestad, CCIM (2008 President), Mac McClure, CCIM (2009 President), Richard Juge, CCIM (2010 resident), Jay Lucas, CCIM, Leil Koch, CCIM, Steve Perfit, CCIM, Wayne D'Amico, CCIM, Jonathan Salk, and Steven Stern. The CCIMNeXt Project Team works hand-in-hand with ESRI to develop the new CCIMNet. This team is led byWayne D'Amico, CCIM and includes Nick Miner, CCIM, Jay Lucas, CCIM, Joel Kahn, CCIM, Dewey Struble, CCIM, and Steven Stern. Two additional workgroups are working on Operations & Marketing and Business Rules..
